Its been a brilliant weekend! Our contest group did CQWW from my house and what a wonderful time it was! Not as busy as previous years but more than made up for with the amount of exotic Dx that was worked and we certainly did well points wise. I cooked for the team on saturday and Kev G6FKE was the chef yesterday. We really have a good team of people here, solid friendships and the enjoyment of each others company and i certainly have never tried to seat as many people round my dining table!
My rotator is definately quite ill though and only just made it through the weekend, on the other hand the Yaesu FT1000 MKV was a dream to use and ran a solid 100w the full 48 hours! No doubt we will be mulling things over tonight at our weekly meeting and getting ready for the next contest which is only a few weeks away.
